Ninfield Greener Grid Park
Located south of the existing Ninfield National Grid Substation, the proposed Greener Grid Park is a vital project that will help the UK achieve its target of zero carbon emissions by 2050.
As well as supporting the transition to renewable energy and balancing the grid, the development will also be designed to deliver a 'net gain' in biodiversity. A consultation website has been set up to enable those interested to find out more and have their say before a planning application is submitted to Wealden District Council.
