09 Jul, 2026

The annual awards, organised by Scottish Renewables, recognise future leaders working in Scotland’s renewable energy industry

Three of Statkraft’s Glasgow-based team have been shortlisted in the prestigious Young Professionals Green Energy Awards 2026.

The annual awards, organised by Scottish Renewables, recognise a broad cross-section of younger people working in Scotland’s renewable sector who have demonstrated passion, innovation and a relentless ambition.

Statkraft colleagues
Joseph Ogunjobi, Felicity Devanney, and Rohit Alexander

Joseph Ogunjobi, Development Communications Advisor has been shortlisted in two categories;  the inaugural Communicator Award, and Culture Change Award, for his work leading a project to incorporate the charity SolarAid into Statkraft’s public engagement materials, promoting SolarAid to rural communities in Scotland and beyond.

Felicity Devanney, Assistant Project Manager for the Loch na Cathrach Pumped Storage Hydro project, has been recognised in the Project Development Award category for her work on discharging the project’s extensive planning conditions in preparation for construction as well as working on budget management, procurement, stakeholder engagement, and commercial aspects.

Rohit Alexander, Grid Connections Manager, has been shortlisted for the Analyst Award. He has been at the forefront of grid policy changes over the last three years, streamlining the process ahead of grid connections reform and participating in connections reform industry working groups.

Richard Mardon, Statkraft’s Head of UK Development, said: “I’m very proud that not one, but three of our development team have been recognised in the Young Professionals Awards. It’s testament to their dedication to Statkraft’s vision and values, and their commitment to the success of the industry. The entire team at Statkraft are wishing them the very best of luck.”

Judging for the awards was carried out by a panel of experts from across the renewable energy industry.

Winners of the Young Professionals Green Energy Awards will be announced in Glasgow, on August 20 2026.
