Corporate PPAs
Increasingly, energy consumers are seeking to show commitment to renewable generation, to specific power plants or construction projects. Corporate PPAs allow them to take off a specific renewable projects’ physical power, or its pricing.
Statkraft supports both generators and end customers with finding their partners and enable them to mitigate their respective risks:
- We manage the balancing and volume related risks.
- We have developed products with the capability to hedge volumes down to 0.2 MW for ten years, enabling end consumers to build up their long-term price exposure gradually and mitigate the risks of renewable projects.
- We reduce the generator’s credit risk by building a portfolio of offtake credits.

Statkraft supports power suppliers (resellers) who on-sell to end customers. We risk manage over 20 TWh of reseller volume in Europe. Our products allow you to concentrate on your end customer acquisition while leaving most of the price and volume risk with us.
